Growing Grievances Possible Disgruntlement then Anger?

I wonder if the advent of the Web has led to what appears to be a growing number of USA residents unhappy with the status quo. The ability for the masses to bypass the elite-owned mass media and local media and spread/share ideas, thoughts, experiences and so many other parts of our lives has altered society.

Status quo:  a Latin term meaning the current or existing state of affairs.

Maybe more folks are discovering that a small percentage of wealthy and powerful people have created many systems, institutions, bureaucracies and other entities that are used to skim the wealth created by the HUGE number of common folks (non-elites) and create barriers within the many systems within the USA to minimize the number of folks who can rise above their lowly position on the socio-economic  hierarchy (“hierarchy” will be used later for the lengthy term “socio-economic hierarchy”).

My Opinion Right or Wrong

John Kennedy stated in a speech:  “If a free society cannot help the many who are poor, it cannot save the few who are rich.”

Sorry Mr. President… this is the “new & improved” USA and a multitude can suffer in many ways as long as the deserving ones atop the socio-economic pile are taken care of. The care those special, deserving folks are entitled to… at least in the minds of many within the upper socio-economic levels and the sadly too many well-indoctrinated commoners at the lower levels of the hierarchy.

And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you — ask what you can do for your country.”

We Should All Be Sports or Movie Stars

The adage declares “America needs ditch diggers, too.”

How you interpret that emotion-based meaningless statement depends on too many factors to cover here.

My interpretation is biased and based upon my own experience and education.

Stated quickly… work you commoner scum. Do the tasks needed to allow an industrialized country/society to function.

Do that work for minimal pay and thus at the lowest possible cost to the deserving folks atop the socio-economic hierarchy.

Never complain!!!  Just be grateful you have a job.

So, your pay is very minimal and you are worried that if that “ObamaCare” thing smacks you in the face and since you are one of many without access to health insurance… heck, you can barely afford even the barest essentials of life, since you do not have health insurance you will be forced to give up WHAT to pay for that insurance? Give up a meal or two or three or more weekly? Pay that fine for not doing what the ruling master’s lackey and other parts of the elite’s federal government has ORDERED you to buy?

Screw you commoners. Your only duty is to OBEY and serve your betters you commoner filth scum.

And there is a HUGE army of lackeys and jack-booted thugs ready to force you to obey.

Remember, it is your own fault if you are not at the top of the socio-economic hierarchy yourself.

Following is the news story that compelled me to rush over to my Land of Disgruntledness and write this entry.

USA citizens Brainwashed and Lied to. Class War is Real.

.

.

WOW!!!

The babbling spewer of statistics gurgles with apparent glee that in a 1 month period an estimated 135,000 jobs were created!!!

USA!!! We’re Number One!!!!!

Of course… never a mention about what type of jobs were created.

How many were low-paying with no benefits?

No health insurance or, if that insurance is available is it so expensive that after paying for it the wage has been devoured by the cost leaving nothing to live on?

It happens, folks.

Or maybe there will be a whopping 30 bucks per week to cover all or part of the transportation cost to get to work then return home.

Also not mentioned is how many of those jobs were part-time.

Oh BOY!!! Let’s celebrate. An $8 per hour job at 15 hours weekly took a person out of the unemployed category!!!

Happy days are here again and there’s a chicken in every pot and those financial worries are behind us!!!

We’re Number ONE!!!!

Time to peek at what may be semi-accurate data about the current USA population:

314,322,475

Advocating the “Devil Weed”

C’mon… just legalize the stuff with some laws, statutes and rules regulating, growing, sales, use, etc.

Put some money into the pockets of “common folks.”

Limit the amount that can be grown to spread the wealth around.

So many methods to tax, distribute, etc.

Experiment!!!

Have local buyers where local SMALL-SCALE growers could sell X amount per year or whatever and obtain X amount of income that would be taxed where the grower’s harvest is sold.

Have buyers be “experts” as to product quality, etc. with “good stuff” worth more and sub-par stuff not as valuable.

Seeking Work

Over the years so many people have either asked if I was a DJ, an announcer, a broadcaster, whatever.

Even strangers have asked.

I just have a “deep” voice, excellent enunciation, etc.

However, despite a deep-seated belief among the Herd, radio has changed with a steadily decreasing number of openings for various reasons and often pitiful pay rates.

Hollywood Celebrity Low-down

Worked at the old-folks home in the early 1980s.

School in the day and evening and four hours janitorial work at the old folk’s home.

Mostly floor care then clean the lounge and dining room.

Free coffee in the break room where lengthy periods between nurses using it gave me ample quiet time for study.

Spent the entire night there at times before, during and after cleaning intervals.

Adding some spice to local life was when George Lucas, the movie creator, came to visit a relative (done after normal visiting hours to avoid the mere commoners who were forced to appear only during normal hours.

A few times he brought Linda Ronstadt, his then current gal friend, the singer and a real cutie, along.

I shoulda’ pinched her butt but I refrained.

A&W Bear

A&W Drive-in

1993 was a tough time in Modesto, CA for unemployed Disgruntled Old ( or young) Coots. Jobs were difficult to find, as usual. Concord, CA had been left behind due to my last two jobs going out of business after having been open for decades. Both victims of a local recession.

“Why can’t you just get a job and keep it, put in your thirty-years, retire then draw your pension?” I have had kinfolk ask me.
