A blog entry was made awhile back about a regular onlooker within the crowd that assembles for the Today TV show aired weekday mornings.
You can see that entry there—->
I had noticed a regular onlooker when watching the Today show on TV. Curiosity drives my essence so I used the wonderful powers of the Web and found that others had their curiosity aroused by the fellow’s presence.
Their efforts were and are appreciated since their curiosity and ability to follow up on their inquisitiveness led to sharing their findings with others.
Whenever the camera panned across the onlookers I looked for the fellow whose “trademark” pointing finger and stern gaze made me happy.
Why that made me happy is complicated. Perhaps the best way to explain that delight was the fellow was a regular guy, one of the multi-millions of common folks whose combined efforts create a country and society and the various cultures within.
The elites and their lackeys and those who the elite-owned mass media have determined are profitable and thus worthy of media attention often accentuate their importance since it assists their relentless wealth grabbing.
Screw those folks. I ignore them as much as possible though I am forced to stay aware of the anti-We, the People shenanigans of the politicians, bureaucrats and the vermin with their greedy, grasping claws wrapped around the reins controlling the economy.
Our average Joe, John Q. Public, the fellow that could have been you or me or the guy a few houses down… the common folks who are what make the USA great, our “Mystery Man” was made known to the public.
The number of hits my blog entry linked to above showed me that many other folks were curious about the fellow who I shall name now:
There are pictures and videos and reader comments at the link above that is on the Today show Web site.
It is the end of an era. I am pleased that the Today show and those involved with the TV show have recognized Linny and gave some attention to an extra-ordinary average fellow.
Rest in peace, Linny.
