Please forgive my commenting and posting akin to the proverbial “broken record.”
You younguns’ with yer’ new-fangled electronic devices may be unfamiliar with “broken record.”
When the Supreme Court decided for corporations in the Citizens United v. FEC case, it elevated knowledge of the doctrine of “corporate personhood” to new heights. Hundreds of thousands of people now know what those words mean.
But as awful as Citizens United is, corporate personhood wasn’t created with that case. Corporate Personhood was concocted by corporate lawyers 127 years ago.
On May 10, 1886 in the Santa Clara v. Southern Pacific Railroad case, the Court is said to have given corporations their first foothold in the Constitution.
In the case, corporations argued they are protected under the 14th amendment — the amendment passed to ensure equal protection of African Americans after slavery was abolished. Since then, there has been case after case in which the Court expanded the Constitutional “rights” of corporations.
This year, on the 127th “birthday” of corporate persons, Move to Amend activists will be organizing actions and events all over the nation.

I am surprised that cities and towns across the USA are not filled with mobs of women screaming their demands for equal treatment with males.
I am also surprised that the Web and mass media is also not full of biddies clucking their demand that they, too, be equal with males in having to register with the military draft.

“American Dream”: Food loaded into Dumpsters while Hundreds of Hungry Americans Restrained by Police
I fear that the linked-to story may disappear so I am reproducing it here to assist in spreading a story I believe is of immense importance to We, the People.
Quoted story follows:
Residents filled the parking lot with bags and baskets hoping to get some of the baby food, canned goods, noodles and other non-perishables. But a local church never came to pick up the food, as the storeowner prior to the eviction said they had arranged. By the time the people showed up for the food, what was left inside the premises—as with any eviction—came into the ownership of the property holder, SunTrust Bank.
The bank ordered the food to be loaded into dumpsters and hauled to a landfill instead of distributed. The people that gathered had to be restrained by police as they saw perfectly good food destroyed. Local Sheriff Richard Roundtree told the news “a potential for a riot was extremely high.”
“People got children out here that are hungry, thirsty,” local resident Robertstine Lambert told Fox54 in Augusta. “Why throw it away when you could be issuing it out?”
SunTrust bank is trying to confuse the issue and not take direct responsibility for their actions. Their media relations officer Mike McCoy, stated, “We are working with store suppliers as well as law enforcement to dispose of the remaining contents of the store and secure the building.” Yet he also said that the food never belonged to SunTrust Bank.
There is no need to sugar coat what happened. Teresa Russell, chief deputy of the Marshal’s Office in Richmond County, said the owner of the building ordered that the food be taken to the landfill. Some people even followed the truck to the landfill and were still turned away.
In Richmond County, there are about 20 evictions per day, and the area surrounding the supermarket is one of the poorest in the state. According to the last available data, the poverty rate is 41 percent. Many people in that parking lot probably knew all too well how evictions work, and were in desperate need of the food assistance.
This story is not some bizarre exception. It reeks of the truth of capitalism and is strikingly similar to the H&M scandal that broke in 2010 when clothes were being shredded before being thrown away, so as to make sure the value of the merchandise was unaffected.
In a capitalist society, the motive behind the production of food is not to feed people, housing is not made to give them shelter, clothing is not made to keep them warm, and health care is not offered primarily to keep people healthy. All of these things, which are and should be viewed as basic rights, are nothing other than commodities—to be bought and sold—from which to make a profit. If a profit cannot be made, usually due to overproduction in relation to the market, the commodity is considered useless by the capitalist and destroyed.
In this case, it appears the bank simply did not care. For the banks that have made their profits through evictions and foreclosures, it is little surprise that they showed no remorse in leaving people staring in disbelief, with empty bags, as they watched the food that could be feeding their families dumped into a landfill instead.

I raise my voice and fist in anger at so many events within the USA that I believe is in the throes of class warfare.
I try to be fair, though, and make allowances for some behaviors or try to explain some acts that appear to be evil but may be acts forced upon folks due to the system we live within.
Lawyers and the legal system have had immense effects upon USA society, government, economic system and many other aspects of life within the USA.
The fear of being sued may have been at least partially to fully responsible for the thrown-away items being dumped.
The threat of lawsuit and the actions taken to avoid that threat has had profound effects upon all of us.
The lawsuit threat is complicated and all-encompassing and beyond inclusion in my blog.
A Web search will reveal a huge horde of pages discussing the topic.
If only good, usable products were not thrown away… especially if their are poor folks around who can use those items!!!!
Could laws be passed to protect folks who give free things to poor folks to prevent their being sued? Use common sense when passing out free things. When in doubt, throw it out!!! Only give away items that a reasonable person would assume to be safe, not out-dated food that might cause sickness, etc.
I now take a moment to shout a huge:
to all the firms who do not throw away leftover food and unsold items. They give the stuff to local charities that assist hungry folks and those facing rough times who are helped so much getting some free stuff such as toiletries, clothing, toys for kids, etc.

Please remember that there IS a LOT of misery within the USA… a country with immense wealth concentrated into a few hands that has been skimmed from the efforts of others… even those eking out a very meager existence.

A society must have laws of some type… even if it is just general agreements that “this” will be done or “that” must never be done.
The more complex a society is the more laws needed. That is how I view today’s reality.
I am saddened that so often the legal system is used to benefit the few to their economic and power-grabbing advantage.
The Founders wrote the Constitution to assist a ruling eilte to basically own and operate the federal government.
Looking at the past and current USA and the HUGE horde of bleating citizen-sheep with many of them ruled by emotions I suppose the Founders made the proper choices of how to prepare a government.
But the USA has changed in many ways and aspects over the decades and now the USA is undergoing class warfare.
And the many systems within the USA are controlled by the few, the few with enormous wealth and power and the resources to virtually enslave the vast majority of folks below them on the socio-economic hierarchy.
This is a warning to all non-elite citizens that the elites and their lackeys can and will legally murder you if doing so is deemed necessary or if the murder is an accident. The lackey doing the killing will not be punished.
Exception may occur for the most vile, evil and reprehensible incidents but, generally, to maintain the status quo is imperative… even if you must be killed.
Never forget that, you mere commoners.
Obey the masters and their cohorts.
Their lust for wealth and power far exceeds your pitiable desire for life.
Here in Missouri the invasion of illegal aliens sneaking across the border to work, play, drink and drive, rape women and children, murder USA citizens, steal identities causing immense monetary harm to innocent USA citizens and MANY other negatives is not as severe as seen in other states such as those closer to the south-western USA border, North Carolina and Georgia and a few other states impacted especially hard by the invasion.
In the past 3 months I have heard of only two murders against USA citizens committed by illegal alien invaders.
And the numbers of illegals hereabouts are small enough to not cause the HUGE cost of renting increase experienced in other ares with hundreds-of-thousand to millions of invaders.
There IS the negative impact regarding employment in a state with a large percentage of working-poor, low wages, high unemployment and usually few to no job benefits.
Every job stolen by an illegal alien is yet another USA citizen kept out of a job… and the excess number of workers assists in keeping wages low.
Despite the relatively minor impact of illegal invaders upon Missouri and the media, typically downplaying the havoc created by those invaders, a local poll indicates that the masses of common folks, even in an area with minor problems compared to other areas, is unhappy about being invaded.
Why should USA citizens pay so MUCH money for Kindergarten to 12th-grade education when MUCH of the money spent is to create a multitude of bureaucracies sucking up immense amounts of wealth and providing lucrative employment, benefits and excellent retirements for bureaucrats and highly-placed administrators?
Also, perhaps most importantly, those 12 to 13 years of schooling is a major component of the USA’s ruling elites and their lackeys thorough indoctrination/brainwashing of the masses of USA common folks.
Please notice how the upper-crust of the USA often send their kids to the proper academies where those in the know are aware that the indoctrination those despised commoner kids are deluged with does not occur.
Future elites are taught realities that those elites attempt to hide from the commoners they rule and skim so much wealth from.
I remember the lies spewed by President Obama and his cohorts and accepted and conveyed by the elite-owned mass media when Obama first became president and moved into the White House.
When asked where his kids would go to school Obama declared he did not want public school kids to be bothered by or have to contend with Secret Service agents protecting his kids.
Instead of a public school where commoner kids are brainwashed… Obama’s kids and their protectors went to a private academy!!!
So– the students at the academy will not be bothered by the agents OR
That private academy will not expose Obama’s kids to the garbage shoved into the heads the masses of despised commoner kid’s heads are flooded with?!!!

Walking out the Wal-Mart doors with the goods paid for the alert system began flashing red lights and a recorded voice began ordering me to stop and return.
That alarm sensed I had merchandise not paid for ergo, I was a THIEF!!!
When I have seen this event happen to other folks they stopped and returned with nary a soul ignoring the non-human command.
Yet one of many indicators that the USA human herd consists primarily of well-indoctrinated citizen-sheep.
Obey your ruling-class masters. Obey corporate USA. Obey their bureaucrats. Obey their hired lackeys. Obey the figurehead lackey politicians. Obey their enforcement personnel; especially the jack-booted thugs.
Disobey the jack-booted thugs and pain, physical damage or even death can result. Even if you do obey the thugs that pain, disablement or death can still occur!!!
Obey every single law, even the laws in place just to maintain a status quo required by the elite masters to maintain their stranglehold upon We, the People Serfs.
Failure to obey the elite’s laws that are akin to slave chains and the punishment for disobeying can ruin you for life, even take your life if you are falsely accused and convicted of a crime allowing the death penalty. Since you are likely a mere commoner with limited to no wealth you may be unable to prove your innocence.

There are many reasons to bring them home but a major reason is the need to have them destroy the fake federal government used to enslave the masses.
Also needing destruction or major alterations are the many institutions, bureaucracies and systems that are used by the few to enslave the many.
The well-entrenched propaganda systems that convince so many that as things are is correct and proper must be altered. Using those systems to brainwash people is immoral and a travesty.
I do not support censorship but after extensive study of how propaganda has been used in various “communist” and totalitarian societies I detect a scary similarity within the USA.
I shudder with dread when I continuously view the USA educational systems being used to indoctrinate folks during their formative years.
The USA wealthy and powerful elites have and continue to use many methods to maintain the systems that have made their socio-economic group so very wealthy and powerful.
Why does a supposedly free people allow themselves to be economically enslaved and their cultures artificially altered to convince those within that culture that all is correct and proper, despite their economic predicaments.
There is no present method other than a full-scale military coup to make any meaningful changes in a government, society and cultures controlled by a few atop the socio-economic hierarchy and by extremely wealthy and powerful corporate structures.
I wonder if the advent of the Web has led to what appears to be a growing number of USA residents unhappy with the status quo. The ability for the masses to bypass the elite-owned mass media and local media and spread/share ideas, thoughts, experiences and so many other parts of our lives has altered society.
Status quo: a Latin term meaning the current or existing state of affairs.
Maybe more folks are discovering that a small percentage of wealthy and powerful people have created many systems, institutions, bureaucracies and other entities that are used to skim the wealth created by the HUGE number of common folks (non-elites) and create barriers within the many systems within the USA to minimize the number of folks who can rise above their lowly position on the socio-economic hierarchy (“hierarchy” will be used later for the lengthy term “socio-economic hierarchy”).
I encourage folks to read “The Irony of Democracy” or one of the many other books covering the topic of the ins-and-outs of the creation of the USA federal government and what the Founders intentions were.
Basically, from the get-go, the USA federal government was intended to be controlled by an elite class.
I understand why the elites did that.
My decades of life experiences, observations and education has led to my viewing the average, typical run-of-the-mill USA resident as an idiotic imbecile lacking the needed interests and desire to be a capable citizen existing within a constitutional republic.
Of course, many folks are simply too busy leading their daily life to devote the needed interest and/or time to being an involved member of the electorate.

I try to ascertain the “moods” and beliefs via the opinions, comments and various written utterances of the populace from those comments.
While performing this task I have the Today TV show that I mostly ignore unless something yanks my attention from my nifty Acer-brand monitor I bough on sale at Wal-Mart and, sadly, was made in China. I wonder if that Mitt critter assisted in sending anything computer-related out of the USA? If not him another greedy vermin of that upper-crust socio-economic class that spits upon We, the People surely did so.
Anyway…
To save money I use an indoor antennae to receive local broadcast-type Television stations.
No funds for paying the exorbitant rate the local cable TV firm charges, even for the most basic offering.
Most of my TV watching is the three “public” TV channels. The PBS folks.
I also receive the “basic” channels such as ABC, NBC, Fox and that CW thing.
When the change was made awhile back regarding how TV stations broadcast their signal and convertors were required to receive the new signals the local CBS station was unable to be received within the shanty.
Maybe an outside antennae would allow reception but those antennae cost money and you either have to be able to install it yourself or able to afford to hie somebody to do the job.
If you are akin to the Disgruntled Old Coot you have no friends able or willing to install the antennae.
Food or a TV station? I have lived fine without being able to see the CBS station so my few funds will be used to buy food, pay for medical care and the taxes that will eventually ensure I leave the shanty and live in the pick-up truck. Sniff.
I admit I am not privy to the information the USA politician scum who are mere figurehead lackeys of the USA’s elite classes, corporations, special-interest groups, etc. have access to.
I am far removed from the bureaucrats and bureaucracies involved with assisting the vile, scum, putrid politicians and all the other people and institutions that whisper into the ears of the USA’s so-called “leaders” who decide to send the common folks of the USA to foreign lands to fight for some reason.
The past few years I keep hearing the well-brainwashed people of the USA spewing that those troops have fought terrorism to “protect our freedoms.”
What freedoms have you lost?
The ability to move to a new area? How about voting? Writing a blog entry? Well, you have lost the freedom to not have some government lackey fondle your body attempting to board an airplane.
But that may be necessary since our borders are wide open to anybody wanting to stroll across a border with the intent to harm us.
I sincerely doubt that the mid-east terrorists had or have the ability to truly remove our many freedoms.

Of course… never a mention about what type of jobs were created.
How many were low-paying with no benefits?
No health insurance or, if that insurance is available is it so expensive that after paying for it the wage has been devoured by the cost leaving nothing to live on?
It happens, folks.
Or maybe there will be a whopping 30 bucks per week to cover all or part of the transportation cost to get to work then return home.
Also not mentioned is how many of those jobs were part-time.
Oh BOY!!! Let’s celebrate. An $8 per hour job at 15 hours weekly took a person out of the unemployed category!!!
Happy days are here again and there’s a chicken in every pot and those financial worries are behind us!!!
