You’ve probably heard by now that the Obama Justice Department has filed a civil rights lawsuit against me.
This lawsuit is purely political and is a blatant and futile attempt to intimidate me from doing my job to enforce illegal immigration laws.
What this Administration really wants is to take over my office. I will tell you right now, that is never going to happen. I am the duly elected Sheriff of Maricopa County and I only answer to the people who elected me.
I’m happy they’re taking me to court. Now we can finally get the facts on the table and have a real discussion about what their motives are.
This Department of Justice has worked hand-in-hand with the ultra-liberal ACLU, radical leftists and the open-borders crowd to weaken my chances for re-election this year.
I have been so humbled and grateful for the outpouring of support from my constituents and the great, law-abiding people of this country who have called me and offered their support.
This is going to be a big, nasty battle. I’m up against the most powerful government in the world. But I’m not going to back down one inch because I know what I’m doing is right. After all, I’m doing the job the federal government is supposed to be doing!
If Obama and Eric Holder don’t like the job I’m doing they should change the laws. Period.

In past writings I mentioned that the USA as it current exists likely requires ruling masters to remain a semi-viable country.
Iraq needed a strong-arm warlord-type ruler to control that very diverse country.
Saddam Hussein used the tactics necessary to control the diverse sects, tribes, ethnicities, etc. inside Iraq.
The USA invades and the Hussein regime ends.
Now consider the increasingly diverse USA and present-day Iraq.
News from Iraq tells us of a constant barrage of bombings, killings and other undesirable affairs as the diversity there shows that diversity is not their strength.
I fear that the same or similar events will become common within the USA.
Divide and conquer. That truism will assist the ruling masters in grabbing evermore wealth and power.
I wonder who or what will remove the USA’s tyrant warlords?
The USA ruling masters, corporations and special-interest groups are too powerful and entrenched and by using the best propaganda systems ever created has convinced too many USA citizens that all is as it should be.

Years of reading, talking, listening and various interactions with USA citizens combined with the power of the Web in my later years led to my belief that the typical USA citizen is a well-indoctrinated babbling buffoon citizen-sheep.
Sure, many of the buffoons knew what was needed to perform their job but in regards to topics beyond their job-specific specialties… well, only a very few folks seek knowledge beyond the needs of the job and perhaps the knowledge in a hobby or interest area.
A football fan may know a lot regarding football.
A fishing fanatic likely knows about equipment, fish types, bait etc.
Sadly, beyond job knowledge and interest areas the multitude of topics, affairs etc. that affect the USA, society, culture, etc. are unknown topics that the masses of brainwashed buffoons rely upon implanted “knowledge” for their reactions and interactions with others.
Damn, I am confronting another incredibly complex topic.
Why do I do this to myself?
A glutton for self-abuse?
The USA is akin to Iraq.
Without a strong powerful ruler or ruling class the country will be at war with itself.
Take away the masters and the “diversity is our strength” politically correct warm fuzzy feel-good idiocy will be revealed as false.
Sure, prove me wrong but, in turn, I invite the reader to engage in regular news reading at the local level. National news omits MANY stories that can only be found in local media.

Some things for the better, some the same and some things are worse.
I fear that the sense of honor folks from your era expected, especially from the upper classes of society, is now a rare commodity in the USA.

Sure, there are still honorable folks around but those in the upper classes and the folks a part of the ruling class, their minions, cohorts and lackeys are, to me, obviously a minute minority.

I DO like the news and non-music offerings.
Well, most of those.

I want to hear about current events and coverage of regular folks.

Justice for Benton HarborThe Move To Amend coalition stands in support of Reverend Pinkney and the Black Autonomy Network Community Organization (BANCO) as they work for economic and social justice in Benton Harbor, Michigan.
Benton Harbor is an overwhelmingly African American community on the edge of Lake Michigan and the world headquarters of Whirlpool. Nothing is actually manufactured in Benton Harbor anymore; free trade policies off-shored their good paying local jobs. A declining tax base coupled with the economic crash has left the city, like many others, in dire straits, and many of its residents struggling against poverty. (See: “Time for an uprising in Benton Harbor.”)
Under legislation which allows the state to take over local governments experiencing a “financial emergency,” Michigan Governor Rick Snyder appointed an emergency manager to govern Benton Harbor. James Harris has become the de facto king of Benton Harbor, refusing to work in concert with city officials, stripping them of their powers, and replacing planning commissioners in order to grab public park land for a posh golf resort, a site on this year’s Senior PGA Tour.
This is a crime against democracy and our American values. When did it become acceptable for the state to essentially fire elected officials duly elected by the people?
To make matters worse, Snyder appears to be targeting cities with large black populations, which could result in the disenfranchisement of the majority of Michigan’s black population. This is an outrage.
We are working to pass a Constitutional amendment, which will curb avaricious corporations seeking personhood rights in order to run roughshod over “We the People.” This is just a first step required to perfect our democracy — the one where “We the People” rule — for this and future generations.
Move To Amend recognizes that we need all Americans participating — people of every color, from every community — for the promise of American democracy to be real.

Elite ruling classes tend to assist each other to keep the HUGE masses of commoners enslaved.
The USA general culture can be traced back to north-western Europe in general (yeah Greece, Rome etc. in there but I remind you space limitations require using generalities).
The USA ingrained general culture mostly uses the carrot vice the stick approach combined with very effective propaganda systems to mentally enslave a multitude of typical humans I and others label as citizen-sheep.
However, to maintain a status quo that allows a few to gather immense amounts of wealth and power from those not a part of the ruling elites, corporate USA or who are minions, cohorts or paid-for lackeys of the rulers, force can and will be used.
USA history will reveal many times various types of force was used to keep YOU and the masses within the USA obeying the rulers.
The message sent when USA citizens are jailed for years or more, fined amounts to ensure life-long poverty and, at times, even MURDERED, is intended to keep the masses obeying their masters.
Even if you are chosen to be used as a “message sender” and the legal system, for whatever reasons(s), decides that you are not to be used to “send a message” to your fellow commoners, the costs of defending yourself can ruin you economically.
Recent events may be causing concern among the USA ruling class.
Many years ago… it may have been in the early 1980s, I read a newspaper story about the USA elite-owned and operated federal government conducting a survey of USA military members if they would aim and fire their weapons at USA citizens if ordered to do so.
A majority (was it 60 per cent? My memory is not perfect!!!) of enlisted (non-officer) troops stated they would not follow those orders.
Sadly, the military officers said they would and that was a BIG percentage declaring they would order their troops to aim and shoot to kill.
I am not surprised since the enlisted ranks tend to have many more folks from the “commoner class” than the college-educated officer corps that TENDS to draw upon the middle-class and higher segments of society.
Digging into the class-based USA society is far too complicated to cover here. Despite the many declarations from the ruling class and their lackeys that the USA is not a class-based society the facts declare otherwise.
If the ruling masters fear We, the People and believe that there is even a remote possibility that too many citizens shed part of their life-long brainwashing to be good little citizen-sheep and OBEY their masters– the possibility that the masters will need to use force to maintain the status quo that keeps them in power becomes a possibility.
Okay… the ruling elite masters tend to flock together to assist each other.
Doing so within the USA is obvious but international cooperation is also common.
The USA is notorious for assisting foreign ruling elites. History shows MANY examples.
The foreign ruling elites so often assisted in many different ways, up to USA military forces entering foreign countries and forcing the common folks of that country to OBEY their ruling master class, are typically assisted because those foreign ruling elites cater to USA rulers, corporate USA, etc.
For the naysayers reading Coot Opinion; yes, there are times when USA military intervention is done for good.
The Nazi cancer had to be removed for reasons I should not be required to mention.
Sadly, from my decades of study, far too many times the USA sent troops overseas to protect our elite ruling class and/or corporate business interests in foreign countries.
Keep the wealth flowing to the proper, deserving folks is the “order of the day.”
If the USA elites ever feel required to unleash their vast power against We, the People, there is little us commoners can do.

(Phoenix, AZ) A series of meetings between representatives for Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio and the U.S. Department of Justice were slated to begin tomorrow to discuss ways to resolve allegations of racial profiling by Sheriff’s employees.
But hours before the first meeting, Deputy Assistant Attorney General Roy Austin of the Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division called Arpaio’s attorneys with an ultimatum. Austin stated that it was absolutely mandatory for the Sheriff’s Office to agree to have an outside monitor otherwise there is no reason for further meetings.
Appointment of an outside monitor essentially usurps the powers and duties of an elected Sheriff and transfers them to a person or group of persons selected by the federal government. Every policy decision, every operation, every new program in the jails and in enforcement, virtually everything would have to be approved by the monitor, nullifying the authority of the elected Sheriff and eviscerating the will of the citizens of Maricopa County.
“I am the constitutionally and legitimately elected Sheriff and I absolutely refuse to surrender my responsibility to the federal government. And so to the Obama administration, who is attempting to strong arm me into submission only for its political gain, I say, ‘This will not happen, not on my watch!’”

Sheriff’s Deputy Director and Attorney Jack MacIntyre says a federal monitor is the most extreme proposal, particularly in light of the fact that the federal government has refused to provide any details or proof as to how they came to the conclusion that Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office employees engage in patterns and practices of racial profiling as well as other unsupported claims that the DOJ has widely publicized.
MacIntyre stated “We have never agreed to a monitor replacing the duly elected Sheriff. We have always been open to negotiating these issues raised by the DOJ, but never the appointment of a monitor.” END

It appears that the ancient rift may be starting again but stopped for unknown reasons many multi-millions of years ago.
The moon is smart enough to scurry out of the way but is our planet getting out of the way?

The Supreme Court has, mostly supported and assisted in the continual increase, of power transference to BIG government and BIG business.
Too often it is the “common folks,” We, the People, who are harmed by Supreme Court rulings.
A FEW exceptions happen.
The politician lackey figureheads regularly assisting their elite-class and corporate masters, will sometimes act in ways that seem to assist We, the People.
But those so-called assistances are usually very minor affairs.
Merely gestures to keep up the delusion that the Federal government represents We, the People.
No real change happens in the “systems” in the USA.

While Web wandering I saw the mentions of active-duty military and veterans supporting Ron Paul for President.
It appears to the Coot that, in general, much of the mass media has ignored that support.
So, of course, the call goes out for the Disgruntled Old Coots of the world to make mention of that support for a fellow Old Coot; Ron Paul.
I wonder if he has his Disgruntled Moments.
