There are many good aspects of USA society and the too-many sub-societies and sub-cultures embedded in the main general society (very complicated topic, folks).
The number of negatives seems to Disgruntled Old Me to be increasing.
Diversity is our strength!!!!
Yeah, right. The politically correct crowd may be easily brainwashed to believe that but I do not.
Consider the following; common sense is overruled by legal concerns.
Lawyers, the legal system and lawsuits have had a tremendous influence upon all aspects of life within the USA.
The costs of those many lawsuits are passed along to the ultimate source of all payments, including most (all?) taxes; the consumer.
All goods and services We, the People buy cost more to cover the costs of lawsuits.
Even a lawsuit that does not end in a payout costs money that you and I pay for.
The Disgruntled One does not declare that all lawsuits should end.
They do have a purpose but I believe the system is being seriously abused.
Societal attitudes are also being affected.
The fear of lawsuit has altered society in so MANY ways!!!
I am not surprised by how many non-USA folks despise or hate the USA.
Heck, I am a life-long USA resident, volunteered for the military, abided by the laws and tried to be a good, decent civil citizen.
With time I learned much and shed some of the brainwashing most of us are exposed to our entire lives (the ruling elites ensure their privileged spawn are not indoctrinated the way us masses of mere commoners are ) .
I am convinced that an intelligent person with some get-up-and-go should find a country/culture appealing to them and do what is necessary to live there and leave the USA behind.
Choose well, of course.
The USA does not deserve good, decent people.
The ruling masters do not want you.
Nope. The ruling masters, corporate USA and others want the type of folks entering the USA illegally.
Especially those crossing the southern border.
Those folks have been indoctrinated, acculturated, to accept a greedy government who places the interests of the few atop the pile over the huge masses of commoners at the bottom.
Eventually, I expect the federal government and its ruling class owners to alter the government they own to be similar to the one in Mexico; an oligarchy.
Get out of this corrupt country.
Unless, perhaps, a military coup allows the recreation of the corrupt federal government and the many institutions designed and operated to serve the elite-class masters.
