The militarization of your local law enforcement bureaucracies.
We, the People appreciate their legitimate efforts but times have changed.
It appears that the USA elite class, corporate USA, special-interest groups and all those who benefit from the embedded systems that maximizes the ever-upwards flow of national wealth into the hands of a small percentage of USA citizens (and foreign elites in cahoots with the greedy scum elites of the USA) have ensured their beloved status quo will be maintained.
Even if We, the People need to be forced to…
Some folks state that the “war on terror” or the “war on drugs” or whatever is responsible for local police forces being equipped with weapons and equipment suitable for forcing We, the People to;
In other posts I have written of my conviction that the USA is experiencing an ongoing class war.
Law enforcement at all levels is a handy device to maintain the status quo the ruling elites desire.
Combined with the ongoing propaganda so effective at convincing a large portion of We, the People, the common folks, the non-elites, that as things are in the USA is how it should be!!!
Sometimes law enforcement makes mistakes.
Another good citizen MURDERED.
“After ushering out his wife and son, the police refused to allow paramedics to access Guerena for more than hour, leaving the young father to bleed to death, alone, in his own home.”
Do a Web search.
There are too many news reports telling of innocent Americans harmed and murdered by what I declare are jack-booted thugs.
Lackeys of THEIR masters. The law enforcement bureaucracies.
Along with the weapons the local cops have is something even scarier; the attitude that accompanies the militarization of police.
An “us against them” attitude.
“in recent years we have witnessed a proliferation in incidents of excessive, military-style force by police S.W.A.T. teams, which often make national headlines due to their sheer brutality. Why has it become routine for police departments to deploy black-garbed, body-armored S.W.A.T. teams for routine domestic police work?”
Good question asked in the article linked to above; “How the War on Terror Has Militarized the Police.”
The Cato Institute, a respected “think tank” with professional well-educate members studied:
“State and local police departments are increasingly accepting the military as a model for their behavior and outlook. The sharing of training and technology is producing a shared mindset. The problem is that the mindset of the soldier is simply not appropriate for the civilian police officer. Police officers confront not an “enemy” but individuals who are protected by the Bill of Rights. Confusing the police function with the military function can lead to dangerous and unintended consequences—such as unnecessary shootings and killings.”
The study is in an Adobe .pfd format.
” US Has been preparing to turn America into a military dictatorship”
A lengthy Web page with interesting opinion and pictures.
I did not have time to read the entire page but the parts I read were interesting.
One difference between the writer and myself is that I am convinced that only a military coup led by an officer corp of loyal to We, the People can make ANY meaningful change(s) to our governing systems along with the many institutions such as those in the economic/financial areas.
The USA is an incredible complex array of many facets; society in general and an enormous number of bureaucracies, organizations, groups, etc. with many dedicated to preserving a status quo that uses and abuses the majority of USA residents.
Yes, class war and the war is increasingly turning against us common folks.
